My daughter, Abigail, was married in Asheville at the Basilica and the reception was held at the Farm Event Center in Candler. It was an absolutely lovely event and I want to let you know that one of the main reasons it was such a success was directly related to the outstanding service provided by Michelle Nelsen. Abby did A LOT of planning and preparation together with her husband Adam, which was obvious, however having Michelle's calm demeanor, attention to every detail, and professional and caring attitude was just what we needed.
Michelle was on top of everything and seemed to be everywhere at once! If we had a question or concern she was available to help, to give instructions and she was just an all-around amazing and positive influence at both the rehearsal and the wedding/reception.
So many times you only hear negative feedback, so I want to be sure you know you have a gem in Michelle. Thanks so much, we will always remember what a great day this was, and who helped so much to ensure it came off without any major problems.

The florals were lovely!!! I still have 3 vases of the "leftovers" here at home that Chris & I are enjoying, too. The girls' bouquets were exquisite!! Numerous guests commented on the table decor, too, & it was just what Christa wanted.
The cake tier fit with the rustic theme, & your recommendation for the baker at the World's Best Carrot Cake was excellent. Guests continue to rave to us about the cupcakes, & I've frozen the topper for Christa & Todd's 1st anniversary. Your lady who helped us, Lily, was a dear, gentle person, & added calmness to the business of last minute preparations.

Emily McCollin's company Occasion's by Emily was absolutely FABULOUS!! Being a very busy couple, my husband and I were able to plan a wedding in North Carolina while living in California with the hard work of Emily and her company. Not only was she helpful with the planning, but she was flexible on EVERYTHING!! It was wonderful! I averaged out to maybe 2 phone calls and about 2 emails a week from December '10 to the last week of August '11 and was ecstatic to find that my wedding was absolutely PERFECT. With Emily as our wedding planner, there were NO issues at the wedding, everything was cued up precisely and our wedding party and guests enjoyed their afternoon flawlessly. The most amazing part about Emily was her ability to take ALL of my ideas and add in everything I asked for in an elegant way well within our budget!! I could not recommend a better wedding planner than Occasions by Emily(Emily). To add to the stress of a marriage, our venue needed changing 2 weeks before our wedding date.
