Summer Colors, Destination Wedding

Last August we were excited to work with all kinds of colors from soft whites and greens to royal purples, to bright pinks and oranges!  Jessica's wedding at Castle Ladyhawke was full of color, fun and of course, romance.  Sending heartfelt gratitude to Jessica and her family for allowing us to be part of such a wonderful day.  Enjoy these beautiful photos from Tickle Photography as we wait for Spring.

Happy Monday! We did a beautiful wedding with an even more beautiful family this summer at Castle Ladyhawke.  Kristin and her mom, Lisa, made the planning process so much fun!  Every time we chatted by phone or met in person, we ended up in giggles because of the sweetness and humor these women can't help but share.  Truth be told, we are a little sad the wedding is over because we were spoiled by their everyday joy.  I hope you enjoy these photos from our new friends, Cathy and Chris, at TPS Photography!

Darcy and Cortney

So many truly amazing, kind-hearted brides and grooms have chosen Occasions by Emily to help with their weddings over the years.  Darcy and Cortney will always be at the front of my memory, though, due to their kindness to all, love for each other, exceptional sense of humor and genuine gratitude they showed to all.  Watching their slideshow by Aaron Imaging makes me want to do their wedding all over again.  Here's to more parties with Darcy and Cortney over the years!

There is no order at all to the weddings I'm sharing, but I am BLOGGING!

Jen and Wes married in May at Castle Ladyhawke.  One of our first weddings in the year, they reminded us of what a privilege it is to serve at weddings.  They and their families were so kind and appreciative of the work each of the vendors gave them.  More than that, they were sweet to each other...something I'm pretty sure is key to a happy marriage!  Here are the photos to prove it by the just as wonderful photographer duo,  James and Jenny of Visio!
