bridesmaid clutches

Good Morning!

Online shopping is one of my favorite "hobbies" these days.  The amount of amazing stuff available to our fingertips and credit cards is unbelievable!  Here are a few adorable clutches I found that you might need for your bridesmaids.  They will love you for your online shopping abilities if you present them with any one of these sassy bags!

Of course, I must start with a Kate Spade...
The "perfect" something blue

Then these fabulous treats on Etsy....
Reminds be a bit of the 80's and says PARTY like no other

Wouldn't these be great customized in your colors?

And this exceptionally elegant find from Mar y Sol...

Instagram and Flowers

Yay for zinnia, dahlia and the last few hydrangea bushes still brave enough to blossom.  I love fall, and truth be told, I wish I could spend all day in the floral studio celebrating with autumn blooms.  Below are a few of the bouquets and other arrangements we've enjoyed creating this year.  I've taken these shots on my iPhone, so had to razzle dazzle a few of them a bit through instagram.  Hope you have fun looking through them and come up with some new ideas for your wedding!

peonies and blue hydrangea

jade roses, one of my favorites

teal orchids, tapestry and Castle Ladyhawke

succulents and medicine bottles, a beautiful combination

the funky little pink guys are carnations--can you believe it?

Emilie and Chase...Happily Ever After

Remember Emilie and Chase?  Our fabulous couple who married in January with an ultra-glamorous (and crazy fun!!!) reception at the Mint Uptown in Charlotte, NC?  Here's a link to some of their amazing wedding images photographed by Caroline Ghetes (one of our FAVORITES!) and published by junebugweddings.com, just in case you need to jog your memory:

Emilie and Chase recently returned from an equally glamorous honeymoon to one of my favorite places in all the world--Paris!!  I wanted to share a few of their images with you because a wedding is only for a day...but a marriage is the happily ever after.  These photos are a testament to how fabulous the rest of the story can be.
The love on the walls of this place is out of this world!
Why yes, that is the Eiffel Tour.  One of my top ten destinations for romance world-wide

They also spent some of their time in Prague:

European rivers and bridges... BEST photo op ever!

A trip to Europe is not complete without a sidewalk cafe experience!  I can almost hear the strolling violins.

I hope you are enjoying your happily ever after today!

Castle Ladyhawke Weddings

Castle Ladyhawke is a fairy tale location, hands-down.  I had the fortune of a client meeting there one night this week and all the memories of royal weddings we've done there came rushing back.  Here are some images by Visio Photography that convey just a taste of the magic guests experience at a Ladyhawke wedding.

Leah and TJ - Intimate Wedding

Every once in awhile, I get to experience the magic of an elopement wedding celebration--and I love it!  Let me tell you why.  An elopement wedding is the most intimate, bare bones celebration of what a wedding is really about.  An elopement, or otherwise very small wedding, celebrates the fact that a man and woman are committing the rest of their lives to each other and that's it.  I've found in the last several years that we (well, mostly we girls :) can get so distracted by all of the beautiful, fun and fabulous wedding accessories, that the main point of a wedding can slip right through the cracks.

Today, I am sharing photos from an intimate January celebration at the Bed and Breakfast on Tiffany Hill.  Leah and TJ's wedding took place in the Sitting Room with just a few family members there to witness.  I LOVE that family was able to share the moment because every marriage needs some backup!

Ceremony in the Sitting Room.

Leah's Mom and TJ's Dad signed the marriage license as witnesses--can it be any more perfect?

One of my favorite "back" doors in all the world belongs to Tiffany Hill.

Thank you to...
Selena Einwechter, Innkeeper at Tiffany Hill.
Rev Fred Werhan who customized the perfect ceremony.
Camilla Calnan of Camilla Calnan Photography for being there (because ALL weddings should have great photos).
Michelle Fountain of Icing on the Cake for the lovely red velvet.
